You’re probably reading this from your bed or your couch, a boring bus or subway ride, maybe coming back from a lovely family lunch in the country side.
While you had a lovely Sunday, tomorrow looms. Mondays. It’s not that I don’t like them, but why could this not last a bit more. This, the quite time, the cosy. The warmth of a body pressed against you while rain is making the streets of Montmartre sliding.
It’s not like I don’t like Mondays, but there is, growing in my throat, a mixed-feeling of anguish, sadness and fear. Maybe it’s time passing too fast, the drinks of last night or the realisation that my life, our lives are futile and my white collar job even more so.
But enough with the Sunday Blues. Let’s unite to find good stories and content, be amused and inspired, together and alone. I’m not sure what this blog will become, but I just like doing things and see where they go.
And let’s not wait longer, here’s Sunday N°1/X:

A song : A Sunday Kind of Love by Etta James (of course). Here on Spotify.
A story: I’ve loved a short documentary on Michel Gondry by Arte. It’s free and will take you to the universe of the director of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (do not watch if you have Sunday Blues) and, of course, Daft Punk’s Around the World video clip. Find it here.
A movie: One thing I love on Sundays is going back to teenage movies. One I did not know but my partner loves is 10 Things I Hate About You. Find it on Disney+.
A book: This part will mostly be Clara’s. She recently devoured Intermezzo by Sally Rooney.
A confort food: This morning we are making what is called oeuf cocotte with Roquefort (some kind of blue cheese, shiitake mushroom and an egg) You put all this in a ramekin, 20mins in the oven and some fresh bread. Will post some pictures of what it looks like on insta.
I’ll see you here and there, next Sunday.
